Hello...

At Your Story Box, we wholeheartedly believe our company should have a vibrant personality. We’re not just a team, we’re a family, driven by a shared passion to help you hold onto those all-important creations that make childhood so magical.

We’re a regular, former military family from Devon who love our children dearly and understand the value of preserving their stories, artwork, and creations. This self-funded venture is our way of making it easier for families like yours to cherish and celebrate those precious memories, forever.

Our Story...

I, Ben (the bald one in the photo), was sitting at my desk a couple of days after Christmas in 2024 when our daughter, Layla (the small one with all the hair), walked in and showed me a magical story about fairies and forests that she had just written in her notepad at the kitchen table.

I told her how lovely it was and encouraged her to keep it safe. As I watched her spin around with excitement, proud of her work, she closed the notepad and ran off. Almost as a quip to myself, I thought, "I’m never going to see that story again," and that’s when something clicked in my head and is where Your Story Box was born.

Like you, our house is full of torn-out stories from notepads, certificates, countless pictures our son, Zachary, has drawn, a concoction of Layla's artwork, costumes, and things made out of empty loo rolls. We even still have a life-size 'Layla-Tron' outfit that my wife, Natalie, made over a year ago for a school event.

But behind every one of these keepsakes, one of children has poured their heart and passion into expressing themselves through their art. Seeing Layla close that notepad reminded me of all her creations that are now scattered in draws, stored away, or gone. Sometimes, I wish I could revisit them; those memories that are tied to each drawing, story, or creation.

Whether they’re in a drawer, attic, or bin, they all hold a special place in our family history; much like yours. And we don’t believe that only the “best” creations should survive the scrapbook or iPhone album. What about the lollipop stick with googly eyes? Or the weird pipe cleaner wrapped around the green pencil with Blu Tack for hair? These quirky, imperfect creations are part of what makes childhood magic.

Our vision for Your Story Box is to preserve these precious keepsakes so that even if they need to be recycled or end up in the loft heaven, they’ll still have a permanent home. A place where you, your children, and your family can look back and celebrate them.

We’ve got your backs, parents. Let’s make tidying up a little less heartbreaking and give you something that your children might one day share with their own.
